The SAE Vehicle Electrification and Connected Vehicle Technology Forum will provide an open technical forum for engineers in advanced automotive powertrain design, hybrid electric vehicle design, xEV component suppliers, transportation authorities, automobile/transportation design consultants and automobile maintainers/sustainers, to get an overview of automobile design processes from concept to production, including power electronics design, motor design, battery management, 48V applications, fuel cells, modeling and simulation, and standardization.
The focus of symposium is to address the trends, challenges, and solutions for electrification of automobiles and transportation. Presentations will cover the controls of electrified drivetrain, engines and transmission control, xEV applications and the integration of connectivity and autonomy and the impacts of the various systems. Experts from OEM, Integrators, Tier suppliers and Academia will address issues critical to the automotive industry.
The symposium will also provide practical information on automobile electrification, motors and controls, batteries, power electronics, connectivity, security and transportation and covers the major trends of companies in the global industry.
