European Association of Law and Economics 2009 Annual Conference

The European Association of Law and Economics celebrates this time its twentyfifth year of activity. We are proud to host this year's conference in Rome. In the last several years, law and economics has been the focus of unprecedented expansion as a field of study in our country. This year we solicit scholars to submit works on the economic analysis of ancient law, with a particular focus on Roman law. We believe that the study of ancient law can be a source of inspiration and a fertile ground for comparative institutional analysis relevant to ourdays' laws and regulations.
