the 10th Asia Oceania Forum for Synchrotron Radiation Research (AOFSRR 2016)

Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) will host the 10th Asia Oceania Forum for Synchrotron Radiation Research (AOFSRR 2016) from November 2 to 4, 2016, in Shanghai, China. On behalf of the international organization committee, it is my great honor to welcome you to participate in this event.

Since the AOFSRR formally started in 2006, it has been serving as a very useful platform for collaboration and information exchange on the developments of synchrotron radiation science and technology among its members. The AOFSRR 2016 will follow this tradition to provide nice opportunities for participants to exchange information about the latest developments, to discuss future plans for synchrotron radiation research, and to broaden and strengthen the collaborations among the synchrotron radiation facilities in Asian Oceania region. The AOFSRR will undergo some reforms in the coming years according to the Communiqué of the AOFSRR 2015 in Melbourne. In this sense, the AOFSRR 2016 will be a turning point connecting its successful past to a brighter future.
