Supported by China Stimulus package and rapidly increasing 4G contracts, USCWC is expanding its Shanghai R&D Center aggressively. Within 2009/2010 fiscal year, USCWC Shanghai will recruit about 300 senior researchers with most Ph.Ds in wireless and/or mobile communications. There will be a Job Fair at the GMC'2009 in Shanghai for these 4G R&D research jobs. Stay tuned ! Within the China Stimulus plan for China 4G technology movement, the IEEE standards will play one of the leading roles in delivering the broadband mobile wireless solutions for the China communications market. IEEE 802.11, 802.15, 802.16, 802.21, etc are critical for C4G movement. How to use the China Stimulus Package wisely is a critical issue for the governments and the public. Multiple levels of expert discussions are required for the Stimulus Plan in the 3G/4G sectors. GMC'2009 will host an expert panel discussion on utilizing the stimulus funds for China 4G R&D, 4G Standardization and 4G Industrial Collaboration programs. Stay tuned for details to come.
