Introduction

IoT systems are becoming increasingly complex. More intelligent and heterogeneous IoT devices are introduced on the market. Moreover, the integration of Cloud computing together with IoT systems is leaving space for the support of more sophisticated applications and services.

To build efficient and reliable IoT systems in Cloud environments significant challenges remain to be addressed. For instance, how to enable the collection, management and sharing of massive amounts of data among devices and/or prospective software in the Cloud? How to design appropriate mechanisms and/or algorithms to manage the Cloud resources? How to ensure reliable integration and interaction between these resources and prospective third-part services?

ISyCC Workshop will be a forum for academics, industrial researchers, developers, and practitioners to discuss challenges and advances of IoT systems in Cloud environments.
