The ISHVAC conference series was initiated by Tsinghua University in 1991. It is the premier international HVAC conference initiated in China and has played a significant role in the development of HVAC and indoor environment research and industry in China.

We sincerely invite you to attend the 10th International Symposium on Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning – ISHVAC 2017 in Jinan, China from October 19th to 22nd, 2017, organized by Shandong Jianzhu University, and co-organized by Tsinghua University, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The University of Maryland, The University of Sydney and UiT The Arctic University of Norway.

The rapidly growing energy use, associated with environmental impacts in developing countries especially the heave haze problem in China, has been paid more significant attention in the past decade, in which the building energy consumption accounts for 33% of the total energy use compared to industrial and transportation sectors; specifically HVAC system accounts for more than 65% of the total building energy consumptions. Therefore, ISHVAC 2017 will provide an international forum to discuss the state-of-art research progress of building environment and energy issues, as well as providing a collaborating opportunity to concern renewable energy application, new technologies of energy efficiency, and human well-being related to indoor and outdoor environmental quality and health, for building designers, architects, engineers, environmental scientists, and facility managers.
