Introduction

The Ninth International Conference on Advanced Computational Intelligence (ICACI2017) will be held in Doha, Qatar during February 4-6, 2017, as a sequence to IWACI2008 (Macao), IWACI2009 (Mexico City), IWACI2010 (Suzhou), IWACI2011 (Wuhan), ICACI2012 (Nanjing), ICACI2013 (Hangzhou), ICACI2015 (Mt. Wuyi), and ICACI2016 (Chiang Mai, Thailand).

ICACI2017 aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists, engineers, and educators to present the state of the art of research and applications in computational intelligence. The conference will feature plenary speeches given by world renowned scholars, regular sessions with broad coverage, and special sessions focusing on popular topics. In addition, best paper awards will be given during the conference. The proceedings of ICACI2017 will be submitted to the IEEExplore Database and to be indexed by EI Compendex. Moreover, selected papers will be published in special issues of related journals. The conference will favor papers representing advanced theories and innovative applications in computational intelligence.

Prospective authors are invited to contribute high-quality papers to ICACI2017. In addition, proposals for special sessions within the technical scopes of the conference are solicited. Special sessions, to be organized by internationally recognized experts, aim to bring together researchers in special focused topics.
