Introduction
The 9th Asian-Pacific International Symposium on Microscale Separations and Analysis (APCE 2009)” and “The 1st Asian-Pacific International Symposium on Lab on Chip (APLOC 2009)” will be held in Shanghai, China from Oct.28 to 31, 2009. The scope of the symposium is aimed to be deliberately broad and interdisciplinary, encompassing microscale separation and analysis, miniaturized chemical and biological sensors, lab-on-chip technology and its applications in life sciences. It will bring together the leading scholars and researchers world-wide to disseminate the recent and advanced progress in this area.
