Intelligence in Embedded Systems is the ability of a product or process to gain knowledge of the operational capabilities and limitations by itself and its ecosystem, and utilize this knowledge in enhancing its functions and performance. This process encompasses data acquisition from sensors, local/remote computation to provide intelligence, and a resulting actuation. Such Intelligent Embedded Systems are the cornerstones for today’s rapidly growing world of technology and automation.
This symposium is an avenue for researchers working in areas centered around Embedded Systems with more focus on Intelligence, to disseminate their research efforts to a wide audience including professionals and pioneers in the industry and academia.
