Introduction
近年来，无网格、质点类和扩展有限元法的发展突飞猛进，国内外的学者在广义流体动力学问题中的应用、非连续的光滑粒子流体动力学方法、在爆炸模拟中的应用、在水下爆炸冲击模拟中的应用、在具有材料强度的动力学中的应用、与分子动力学耦合的多尺度模拟的应用领域做出了大量贡献，为了进一步推动相关的科研和学术活动的开展，北京国际力学中心拟于2009年年10 月 12 日至17 日在南京举办"北京国际力学中心无网格、质点类及扩展有限元法国际学术研讨会"。 大会主要就无网格、质点类和扩展有限元法的理论背景、数值方法、程序实施及其在许多领域应用开展广泛的学术交流，探讨今后学科发展的方向。
