Introduction

Many Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications require real-time analytics to maintain situational awareness and make decisions for quick action. Most real-world IoT environments will involve:
• Multi-latency networks due to heterogeneous network interconnections.
•  Multi-party networks, as different IoT subnets may be deployed and/or owned by different entities.
This workshop will focus on IoT networks in metropolitan-scale areas, aka “metro-scale networks,” which are expected to be widely prevalent in smart city and smart and connected community environments. Algorithms for real-time analytics in these environments must deal with complexities including incomplete and missing data, e.g., due to subnet outages or erroneous data from hardware, network, or software errors, and/or compromised data caused by cyber-attacks.
