Introduction
The ISAFA organizes regular events and activities worldwide, where highly reputed scientists and football coaches and fitness specialists provide clinics, workshops, roundtables and plenary talks to those who are interested within professional football careers, in addition , the events provide an extraordinary network , opportunity and also a chance to gain a football fitness coach diploma (subject to quality assured assessments). ISAFA in China 2017 will be a colossal interdisciplinary sporting and science event that engages Key China institutions and several other partners across the globe. High level academics, scientists guest speakers, medical specialists, world renowned football coaches and fitness experts representing different schools, technicians, football practitioners, and local and overseas students will be invited and/or attending. It offers a networking stage between people sharing the same vision: "no progress without science".

The International Science And Football Association (ISAFA) organizes regular events and activities worldwide, where highly reputed scientists and football coaches and fitness specialists provide clinics, workshops, roundtables and plenary talks to those who are interested within professional football careers, in addition, the events provide an extraordinary network opportunity and also a chance to gain a football fitness coach diploma (subject to quality assured assessments). The ISAFA 2017 will be held in Ningbo University, Ningbo, China. You can attend the conference and/or submit an abstract for a short oral communication and/or a poster presentation (20-21 July 2017). Oral communications are 15 minutes followed by few questions. All keynotes will be invited; their speeches will be 30 min each.
Submission Topics
All submitted abstracts should be related to football: Experimental research; Review of literature; innovation related to coaching; Football teaching and/or training; Football and clubs/teams management. Physiology - Biomechanics - Psychology - Fitness training - Coaching didactics - Medical assessments - Performance Analysis - Strength and conditioning - Talents identification and grassroots - Management.
Guidlines
Authors should send their abstracts electronically (in attached Microsoft Word format file) to: isafachina@hotmail.com
Abstracts (including few references) must be prepared according to the following guidelines:
- Word count: 500 words including references
- Number of pages: maximum 2
- Font: Arial 12 for the text and 10 for the references
- Text: Justified
- Line space: Single
- Margins: 2 all sides
- Title of the abstract (font size 12, bold)
- Name of the authors and their affiliations (font size 10, bold)
- Key words 3 to 5
- References should be formatted as the American Psychological Association (APA) style
- Each Presenting Author/First Author can only submit a maximum of TWO abstracts.
Abstracts related to experimental study should include the following sections
- Introduction: purpose of the study, short review of literature
- Method: data acquisition and analysis
- Results: text, graphs or/or tables
- References: APA format (font 10)
Review process
- Once your abstract is received, you will be notified by the director of the scientific committee
- All abstracts will be independently reviewed.
- Presenting authors will be informed no later than 5th June 2017, about the acceptance or rejection of their abstract(s) and the designated type of presentation format.
- In order to guarantee publication of the abstract and inclusion in the Conference Programme, authors receiving an abstract acceptance notification must register and make full payment before the 30th June 2017. A decision by the author to withdraw the abstract(s) from consideration or not to present within the designated format should be communicated to the Conference Secretariat as soon as possible.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceeding (with ISBN number for international recognition).
Submission deadline
Submissions should be sent by email before 31th May 2017 to isafachina@hotmail.com you will be notified by the Conference Secretariat.
Authors will be informed about the results of the expertise before 10th June 2017
In case you do not receive a confirmation of reception of your abstract within 48 hours, we advise you to resend it again.
