Introduction
The 2017 IET International Conference on Biomedical Image and Signal Processing (ICBISP) is the second in this series of events by the IET and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, which aims to gather leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Signal and Image Processing. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the ways that innovation, knowledge exchange and enterprise can be applied to issues relating to medicine, surgery and healthcare.
