X-PMT Workshop

The workshop of the X-PMT will be held at Nanjing University, Nanjing City on May 27-28, 2017. Seek to bring together experts in PMTs to evaluate the state-of-the-art of the technology in the various applications, to exchange new developments, and to explore ways to push the boundaries of large area MCP-PMT performance parameters, such as quantum efficiency, detection efficiency, aging, uniformity, dark count, and spatial / temporal resolution.

This workshop also try to discuss the R&D of several types of PMTs, include the dynode, microchannel plate, silicon, gas based hybrid PMTs. Hope to provide an excellent platform to bring together professional participants all over the world to talk about the future of the PMTs. The new large area PMT design and application in cosmic ray test, neutrino detection, dark matter detection and so on, the high time and position resolution PMTs in medical  imaging et.al.
