Introduction

Cellular networks have become a critical infrastructure for society due to the diversity of devices and use cases they serve. The amount of data on cellular networks has been increasing rapidly, driven in large part by the amount of streaming audio and video media that is being consumed by resource-rich end devices, such as, smartphones and tablets. Coupled with the enormous complexity that underlies such networks and the diversity of radio environments they must operate in, failure and performance management can become a challenge. Cellular networks are often called on to maintain the Quality of Experience (QoE) across applications whose requirements and expectations vary widely, from entertainment applications to life critical emergency communications.

This workshop aims to put together researchers and practitioners working in the area of performance and fault management in cellular networks to understand the state-of-practice, the open problems, the current solutions being developed, and the road that we need to chart in the future.

We solicit regular technical papers (6 pages or less in IEEE double column, conference format) and position or vision papers (3 pages or less). Each submission will get 3 reviews from TPC members, who are active researchers and practitioners in cellular networks.
