Abstract
Abstract—With the increasing gap between peak and valley load in power system, it is imperative for large nuclear power generators to participate in Peak load regulation of power system. This article proposes a combined optimal dispatch model of nuclear-thermal-energy storage with nuclear power participating in equivalent peak load regulation through the time transfer of energy of the heat storage system. Transfer energy through heat storage devices, the amount of the nuclear power participating in peak load regulation was consumed, and optimizing the output of other units to achieve the equivalent peak load regulation of nuclear power. Examples show that the model can achieve the equivalent peak load regulation of nuclear power, also can save the cost of power generation, the pollution gas emissions are reduced, and it ensures the economy and security of power grid operation.
