Introduction

As the spread of COVID-19 continues and the situation is still uncertain, The Agro-Geoinformatics committee has taken the decision to postpone the 9th International Conference on Agro-Geoinformatics to 26-29 July 2021, in the same venue in Shenzhen, China.

The Ninth International Conference on Agro-Geoinformatics (Agro-Geoinformatics 2021) will be held in Shenzhen, China, on July 26-29, 2021. This conference is organized and hosted by Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Center for Spatial Information Science and Systems (CSISS) of George Mason University with technical and financial sponsorships from Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and CSISS Foundation Inc.

Agro-geoinformation is critical for the agricultural sustainability, food security, environmental research, bioenergy, natural resource conservation, land use management, carbon accounting, global climate change, health research, agricultural industry, commodity trading, economy research, education, agricultural decision making and policy formulation, etc. The Agro-Geoinformatics conferences were successfully held in Shanghai, China (Agro-Geoinformatics 2012), Washington DC, USA(Agro-Geoinformatics 2013), Beijing, China (Agro-Geoinformatics 2014), Istanbul Turkey (Agro-Geoinformatics 2015), Tianjin, China (Agro-Geoinformatics 2016), Washington DC, USA (Agro-Geoinformatics 2017), Hangzhou, China (Agro-Geoinformatics 2018), and Istanbul, Turkey (Agro-Geoinformatics 2019). The Agro-Geoinformatics conferences have provided and will continue to provide an ideal venue for professionals and students to exchange their ideas, research results, professional experiences, the latest developments and future vision of agro-geoinformatics. The Agro-Geoinformatics 2021 conference will continue covering the recent advances in the life cycle of Agro-geoinformatics, from data collection (including field surveys and remote sensing), processing, storing, archiving, preservation, retrieving, transmitting, accessing, visualization, analyzing, synthesizing, presenting, disseminating to decision making.

Selected paper will be published in an SCI-indexed journal (TBA).

Submissions
Participants are invited to electronically submit original, unpublished research contributions or experience reports not concurrently submitted elsewhere.

Abstract Submission
All abstracts must be 400-500 words long and written in English. Submission format for full paper shall be following the IEEE template. All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed to maintain high quality presentations. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore. Only papers, presented at the conference by one of the listed authors and duly registered for the conference, will be retained in the conference proceedings.
Abstracts must include title and authors (first name surname), and indicate the presenter by underlining the name and providing that author’s contact details: affiliations, department, full address (street, city, state/province, and country), telephone, fax, and Email. Selected keywords are also required to be included in submitted abstract. This would be beneficial for your papers to be assigned to proper conference sessions.
Click Submission System to submit your abstract.

Full Paper Submission
Please first download Manuscript Templates for preparing papers for conference proceedings. The length limit of the full paper is 6 pages, but at least 4 pages, in the format of the template. Please strictly follow the template to prepare your paper, otherwise, the paper would be rejected.

Instruction for validation and final submission of camera-ready papers could be found HERE.

Attention publishing authors! Only accepted papers that are registered, written in the required 4-6 pages full paper IEEE format, submitted by June 20, 2020, and presented by one of the authors at the conference will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore.
