The 4th International Symposium on Intelligence Computation and Applications (ISICA 2009)

The 4th International Symposium on Intelligence Computation and Applications (ISICA 2009) will be held on October 23-25, 2009, in Huangshi, China. ISICA 2009 will address the latest development of theories and methodologies in the field of computational intelligence and their applications. Following the success of the First International Symposium on Intelligence Computation and Applications (ISICA 2005) sponsored by the China University of Geosciences (CUG), ISICA 2007 and ISICA 2008 have presented four proceedings, including two volumes of Lecture Notes in Computer Science by Springer and two books by the Press of China University of Geosciences. All papers included in the two volumes by Springer have been indexed by both EI and ISTP, while the other papers collected in the two books are indexed by ISTP. Submission and Publication All papers should be in PDF format, and submitted electronically through the conference website. The manuscripts should be written in English and follow the LNCS format provided by Springer (http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html). Full papers are limited to maximum 10 pages. The accepted papers will be included in the two volumes of the proceedings of ISICA 2009. The first volume will be published by China University of Geosciences Press, while the second volume will be published by Springer. The papers in the first volume are supposed to be indexed by ISTP, and the second volume papers to be indexed both in EI and ISTP, according the practice of the last three proceedings.
