2009 IEEE 6th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference

The International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (IPEMC) was initiated by China Electrotechnical Society in 1994. It has been held every three years. This conference was growing steadily and is now developed into one of the major international conference in the filed of power electronics and motion control. The 6th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (IPEMC 2009) will be held during May 17-20, 2009 in Wuhan, China. It is sponsored by China Electrotechnical Society (CES), IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS), and National Science Foundation of China (NSFC). It is also for the first time in cooperation with the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ)-Industry Application Society and the Korea Institute of Power Electronics (KIPE). It will be the first implementation of the long-expected power electronics conference rotating among China, Japan and Korea, and will be the first hit of the Asian track in the PELS strategically planed global Energy Conversion Conferences and Exposition (ECCE) series.
