The German Institute of Navigation (DGON) and the Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques FHR cordially invite you to the International Radar Symposium (IRS) 2019. Following a very successful sequence of Radar Symposia started in Germany 1998, it will now be held in Ulm, Germany, home of Germany's major radar company, Hensoldt. Due to the rapid development of technologies, radar is still an expanding technical and economical field with many practical applications both in civilian and military areas.
The city of Ulm, situated on the river Danube in the heart of southern Germany, is birthplace of Albert Einstein, both rich in history and a modern city with excellent infrastructure: Ulm’s historic Fishermen’s Quarter, the world-famous Gothic cathedral with the highest church spire in the world, its museums, parks and gardens are only a few sights well worth a visit.
The International Radar Symposium aims to provide a forum for both academic and industrial professionals in radar from all over the world and to bring together academicians, researchers, engineers, system analysts, graduate and undergraduate students with government and non-government organizations to share and discuss both theoretical and practical knowledge. We invite everybody to submit outstanding and valuable original research papers and participate in the technical exhibition during the conference.
The scope of the Symposium includes, but is not limited to the following major topics.
