The 9th International Conference on Matter and Radiation at Extremes (ICMRE2026) will be held from May 18th to 22th, 2026 in Xiamen, Fujian, China. ICMRE2026 will be hosted by National Key Laboratory of Plasma Physics and Xiamen University, and will be supported by the journal Matter and Radiation at Extremes (MRE).
The International Conference on Matter and Radiation at Extremes (ICMRE) is an international conference convened periodically since 2016. It has successfully held eight editions—both online and offline—in cities such as Chengdu, Beijing, Qingdao, Hefei, Zhuhai, Hangzhou, and Xi’an. It will provide an opportunity to discuss the latest results of physics, technology and applications in the area of matter and radiation at extremes.
